My husband and I put in hours researching so you don’t have to! This downloadable Japan itinerary (linked at the bottom of this post) is broken down day-by-day, with multiple options for lunch / dinner / activities. Everything is linked on Google Maps and prices are shown in USD!
Day 1 - 5: The Bustling Capital, Tokyo
Hands down our favorite city in Japan (given we’ve only visited 3 times). The lively atmosphere with so many areas to walk around and explore.
Accommodations:
The Okura Tokyo (around $700/night): A modern mid-century luxury hotel in Minato City with a gym, sauna, and pool. On the pricier side but the property was stunning! Their breakfast buffet easily made it to our top 3 favorites. Ever.
Trunk Hotel (around $500/night): Industrial chic meets sustainable minimalism. A open-spaced concept hotel that encourages socializing. Great location, very central and multiple trains walking distance.
Mitsui Garden Hotel Roppongi (around $260/night): Modern hotel in a great location and has views of the Tokyo tower. Plus around the corner is a Don Quijote, so you can drop off your haul before continuing your explorations!
